What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is about focusing your attention on the present. When you are mindful you observe your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Instead of life passing you by, it means living and fully experiencing the present moment.
What are the benefits of Mindfulness?
There is significant research outlining mindfulness as an effective treatment in stress reduction; pain management; improving memory; increasing focus; improved self care; enhanced coping strategies; improving mental health; reducing emotional reactivity, and relationship improvements.
